hot pink bridesmaid dresses

Just wanted to do a quick review before I forgot... I also have tons of black and gold items for sale. PM if you're in need of something.

Hair (Lake Country): Juli at Quaint Hair Designs did an amazing job on my hair and my 4 bridesmaids. Each of us had a unique style and based on pictures she saw that morning and with adding her creative touch, each hair style looked amazing and lasted all night! Each bridesmaids hair completely matched their personality too. Plus she's super easy to work with and a real sweetheart.

Make-up (Kelowna): Brandie Jollimore was fantastic. I actually referred to her as a magician. She was able to work with each of me and my 4 bridesmaid to create a look that suits each of us. Honestly each of my bridesmaid had perfect makeup and I am SO happy Brandi was my makeup artist for my big day! When she showed me the final look in the mirror, I said "oh wow. I look like a princess". I felt amazing! Brandi is also great at ensuring that the morning is moving smoothly and that there are no interruptions while your makeup is being done.

Dress(Kelowna): Bliss Bridal. Not only does Bliss have an amazing selection but they have great staff that are really knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to what I wanted and suggested dresses based on what I liked and didn't like. They were also great for communicating with and nice enough to steam the dress for me before the big day. I also got one of my bridesmaids dresses from here and it was so easy for my bridesmaid to go in and do everything without me. I did have one of my other bridesmaids go in though to look at dresses and she was not greeted the same way as I was until she said that she was looking to order that day.

Alterations (Kelowna): Sera Graziano. Sera did such a great job on my dress. I had to go back a couple times and she was always very welcoming. Very reasonably priced as well. She was very busy though so make sure you give yourself lots of time.

Bridesmaid dresses (GVA): Frocks is awesome. My matron of honour got her bridesmaid dresses from there and it was such a great experience that it was my first stop when looking for my bridesmaid dresses. Van (the owner) is so sweet and helpful. She explains everything to you and ensures your satisfaction.

Flowers (Kelowna) : Shannon at Tangerine Orchid actually gave me butterflies. My wedding theme was black and gold and I had a full meltdown about not having black flowers at a wedding and not having gold flowers because it could look extremely tacky. Shannon did such an amazing job playing with white and greens and adding in some blush pink tones. I adored my flowers. She was also so easy to work with, excellently priced and I was sooo pleased.

Photographer (GVA) : the EXTREMELY gifted Rachel Barkman from vancouver did our photos with Aileen Choi as my second shooter. Rachel is an amazing photographer and an amazing person. She puts a smile on everyone's face and makes your special day that much more special. You get a couple photos for previews by the next day (we got ours the night of) and she had the 1800+ photos to us in just over a week. She's got an eye for what will look great and how to pose people without making anyone pose too much at all. Rachel did the photography for my very close friends in 2015 and then per my recommendation did my matron of honour and best mans wedding in 2016. I could write about how amazing she is all day.

Ceremony Venue (Lake Country): 50th parallel estate winery. The venue is breath taking. The white umbrellas and chairs are simple elegance. The wine is super tasty! I highly recommend having your ceremony at 50th (they do receptions too). Just make sure you have tons of cooling items and water for your guests because in the middle of July at the top of the mountain, it was HOT! We booked the venue in 2015 and at that time the owner Sheri-lee was in charge of the weddings. Sheri-lee is a very pleasant person but it was very hard to reach her and communicate with her. We also had a couple hiccups in our hundreds of emails because communication was not as clear as we would have liked. She has since hired Valerie and Valerie is quicker to respond to emails and very helpful. We had a phone conversation with both of them sometime in June to go over final details and agreed that any final questions (including where we could and couldn't not take photos) would be discussed on the day of the rehearsal. Neither Sheri-lee nor Valerie were at our rehearsal. We were disappointed in the fact that neither of them were there and we felt that we weren't as important to them as we should have been considering the price to rent the venue. Valerie was there on the day of and was very pleasant and helpful on that day. Overall I do recommend 50th, I just warn that communication is something that I believe they are working on improving. hot pink bridesmaid dresses

Reception venue (Kelowna) : Okanagan Golf Club. Adrienne at the OKGC has everything you need. Table cloths in all colours, chair covers, cake table cloths, decorations, number stands, mercury votives, candle holders, vases, etc. And she has a lot of it. She is also very willing to communicate. We had her email, phone number and personal cell number. Everything was very easy and adrienne was very easy going. She was willing to answer our 100s of questions and meet with us whenever. She was also willing to answer all our families questions and meet with anyone whenever we stopped by the GC. The venue was gorgeous, easy and working with Adrienne was great! She even arranged for a golf cart for us to uSe to take pics and for golf balls for people to hit on the driving range while they waited for us to arrive.

Photo booth (Kelowna) : Okanagan Photostar did a great job. They custom created a border and unique design for our photos, they were funny and kind and our guests loved it. I highly recommend having a photo booth at your wedding! Our one concern was that one of the staff was drinking alcohol while working and this was something that wasn't discussed with us. We found this unprofessional and considering we had an open bar, we would have liked to have been consulted before someone that we were paying to work at our wedding was drinking.

DJ (Kelowna): John Byrne is a musical genius. John was SO easy to work with, so kind and so in-check with what was getting people dancing and what wasn't. He was willing to meet with us and gave us a lot of suggestions and tips for our music. He is very experienced and we received a lot of feedback from our guests about how great the music was. They say that guests remember two things from weddings: the food and the music. John did an amazing job at making sure the music was unforgettable. We also had a live musician come in to sing Serbian music and John was very willing to communicate with him, coordinate everything with him and lend his equipment. It was so nice that we didn't need to worry about any of that. Highly recommend John.

Officiant (lake country) : Bonnie Schneider was awesome! We had a non-religious ceremony (but I believe she does both) and the ceremony she wrote for us was beautiful. I cried when we did the run through and we did it over Skype! She asks each of you a series of questions and then writes a personalized ceremony for you. She also has tons of examples for vows (12 pages) and is willing to help with whatever you need. Our ceremony brought a lot of people to tears and I am beyond impressed with Bonnie. We also got a personalized keepsake from the ceremony and our marriage licence came in less than 2 weeks!

Tuxes (BC) : black and lee did an awesome job. We ordered the grooms from Langley and started the process there and our groomsmen were able to go to any black and lee to get measured and finalize their tuxes and then we had them all delivered to Kelowna. We had no issues and were very satisfied with the rentals.

I might be forgetting a vendor. If I am, I'll add to the post in the comments. Hopefully this helps fellow brides planning, I know that reviews really helped me.
